Talon Audio Technologies was founded in Murray, UT 1989 by Michael Farnsworth. Michael ran the engineering and day to day operations and developed some of the finest loudspeakers in the industry. While not inexpensive, they are extremely high value, withstanding the test of time. Many of the speakers made in the early days are still regarded as outstanding and held as prized possessions by their owners.
On August 2nd, 2006 Rives Audio, Inc acquired Talon. This acquisition will enable Talon to continue to develop and manufacture the finest loudspeakers available. Manufacturing and R&D remain in Murray, UT.
